The Safety Net

We require a framework for highlighting and reporting safeguarding across SFW. The purpose of this is to ensure that concerns will always get raised at some point and this information is discussed by the appropriate groups/people. This helps to make safeguarding visible in organisation and shows clearly what the procedures are for discussing, reporting, acting and reflecting upon it.

Abbreviations:

PDC - Practice Development Consultant (senior therapists who oversee the work of each therapist)

SBP – School Base Partner – member of partner school’s staff who co-facilitates Family Group

DSL – Designated Safeguarding Lead – SFW has two DSLs
