'Transforming Lives' Programme - funding available for local primary schools

As part of our ‘Transforming Lives’ programme we have funding available to support two more local primary schools in West London (Hounslow, Richmond and Kingston).

We run multi-family group therapy, called Family Group, in partnership with primary schools. Together with your school staff, our highly trained and experienced therapists target support at children who may be struggling at school. Some of the challenges they face may now have been further entrenched by Covid and we work holistically to help those children and families begin to thrive at school.

Our National Lottery funded ‘Transforming Lives’ programme runs until 2026. As part of this programme, we are supporting Southville (Bedfont), The Cedars SEMH (Cranford), Reach (Feltham), Clarendon (Hampton) and Lovelace (Chessington).

As well as the Reaching Communities grant from The National Lottery, additional programme funding has been contributed by King’s House School, Prospero World and Hounslow Council.  The School & Family Works also have the support of local MP, Seema Malhotra (Feltham and Heston).

There is lots more information about the groups and our approach on our Family Group website.

Please get in touch with our Programme Manager, Joanna Watson to discuss how we can support your school. Joanna can be contacted by email joanna.watson@theschoolandfamilyworks.co.uk or phone 07967 352 909.
