I have spent my entire professional career working directly with children and their families. This has been within both private and public hospitals in the U.S. and within the NHS in the U.K. In the NHS, I led a team of Health Play Specialists who supported children through their hospital stays and resulting procedures. I have a Master’s degree in Child Life and Family Studies as well as a Master’s in Health Management.

 

I joined The School & Family Works in 2024 as Operations Coordinator and I have thoroughly enjoyed my role behind the scenes supporting the therapists with data collection and general admin. Data collection is an opportunity to evaluate the work being done as well as a chance to showcase the successes of the families. I fully believe in The School & Family Work’s unique approach to supporting both children and their families to create lasting change.
