Wendy Smith

Psychotherapist

Wendy is a family and systemic psychotherapist and has a background in nursing.  She is registered with the UKCC (United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing and Midwifery) and the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). 

Wendy has worked in the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAMHS) for the past 25 years, in hospital and community settings.  She worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Ward Manager and Practice Educator in London.

Wendy moved into Primary Mental Health in Surrey, where her key role was the early identification and prevention of mental health problems.  It was in this role that she became interested in working with groups of families in schools.

Wendy delivers a Family Group for The School & Family Works at Town Farm Primary School in Stanwell, Middlesex.  Wendy also works as a family therapist for Surrey CAMHS in Guildford.
